cORONAVIRUS (cOVID 19)
As the novel coronavirus (COVID 19) continues to rapidly evolve our transportation family becomes even more important to us at VAPT. Because the daily news channels are providing updates which are specific to the virus, VAPT will try to keep you updated on changes that directly affect pupil transportation in Virginia.
VAPT is the premier organization in Virginia dedicated to
promoting safety, professionalism, and excellence
within the pupil transportation industry. Membership is composed of
school transportation personnel from both the
public and private sectors from all districts in the state, personnel
from the state Pupil Transportation Service,
and members of the school bus industry.

Ms. King has been driving
for Fauquier County since 1960.
You will never meet a more amazing woman. She is strong, beautiful, kind,
and has a work ethic like no other. Since I have been here, 11 years now,
she has only missed one day and that was to finish making hay.
She owns and operates her own farm along with driving the bus.
She also parks the bus on the farm so she is never late for any of her runs.
Imagine the generations of students that she has safely transported to school,
and she dearly loves them all. Please enjoy the short video of Mrs. King - filmed on her farm,
and join usin wishing her congratulations on completing her 60th year as a school bus driver,
I am checking, I bet this is a record.
Thank you Mrs. King
